Symbolic Unity Train departs from Kyiv

An official event of the departure of a fourth Unity Train, Trukhanivska Sich, also dubbed the St. Nicholas Christmas Train, from Kyiv took place on December 12, 2016.

The train departed from platform 1 of Kyiv's railway station.

In Chyhyryn (Shevchenko railway station) the train will become a Christmas train as it will be loaded from presents from St. Nicholas, which will be handed over to children and Ukrainian soldiers who are in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in Donbas, the east of Ukraine.
