After nine days without food and water, one of the two small children left unattended by their 20-year-old mother died in a Kyiv apartment. The deceased boy was one year old and his sister, who survived, was two. According to the National Police, the doctors are still struggling for her life.

Ninth place in a global list of the largest arms exporters in 2011-2015 is taken by Ukraine, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) report.
