A military nurse was killed in a shelling by militants in Luhansk region Feb 20.
The U.S. Department of State has been informed of the death in Donbas of a 23-year-old Ukrainian medic Sabina Halytska, according to its spokesperson Heather Nauert.
"We received reports that a Ukrainian medic was killed while trying to aid civilians near the contact line, reminding us that the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues to rage on. Civilians and first responders face real dangers every day," Nauert said Thursday.
She stressed that it was Russia who "manufactured" the conflict in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and continues to control its proxy forces in Donbas.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a military nurse Sabina Halytska, 23, was killed in Luhansk region in as she came under militant fire while providing aid to civilians. She is survived by her parents and brother.
