The diplomats called on Ukrainian and international media "to remain alert and not fall for provocations."
Ukraine's embassy in the United States has refuted information about the alleged "detention" of Ukrainian space industry officials - participants of a symposium in Colorado Springs.
“The Ukrainian Embassy in the U.S. refutes reports about the alleged detention of Ukrainian space industry officials taking part in a symposium in Colorado Springs, U.S., and the alleged departure to Colorado of the Ukrainian Ambassador to clarify the circumstances. This is outright fake news and a lie,” the embassy reported on Facebook.
The diplomats wrote that the Ukrainian delegation continued to work according to with the event's schedule, while Ambassador Valeriy Chaly remained in Washington D.C. as a member of another Ukrainian delegation – at the IMF and World Bank's spring meetings.
