The EU considers these "elections" null and void.
The European Union has strongly condemned the so-called "elections" carried out by Russia in the occupied territories of Donbas.
"At special OSCE Permanent Council meeting today EU strongly condemns so-called 'elections' carried out on 11 November by Russia - backed armed formations - brazen violation of intl & Ukrainian law & Minsk agreements. We consider them null & void," the EU Permanent Representation to the OSCE wrote on Twitter.
"Complete implementation of the Minsk agreements remains key to reaching a lasting peaceful solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine," it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian-puppet "DPR" and "LPR" on November 11 held sham "elections" of the so-called "heads of people's republics" and "deputies of people's councils."
The international community has condemned the pseudo-vote.
The European Union, the United States, and Japan declared that the holding of "elections" in the occupied parts of eastern Ukraine was a violation of the Minsk agreements.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stressed that the fake "elections" in Donbas would not be recognized either by Ukraine or by the international community.
