Chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlya has said Russian security forces detained Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelalov.
He also wrote on Facebook Crimean Tatar activist and political scientist Lenora Dyulber had been detained by the Russian FSB at the checkpoint on the de-facto border between the temporarily occupied Crimea and mainland Ukraine.
In an update to his post, he wrote Dyulber was later released and she was on her way home.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a Crimean Tatar activist was sentenced by Russian occupation authorities after complaining of FSB torture, that's accoding to the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group.
