Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski says that the Ukrainian authorities are advancing on the path to reform, though they should demonstrate more commitment to reformation.
"The EU sees the Ukrainian authorities' efforts to carry out reforms in these difficult times. We really see the real political will (and an ambitious plan from the point of view of the government's program) of the Ukrainian authorities to support the European choice of their own people by conducting reforms. However, in order to accelerate the process, Ukraine should demonstrate more commitment to reforms at all levels of government, as well as at the level of their implementation," Tombinski said in an interview with Obozrevatel.com.
He noted that Ukraine must demonstrate "clear and steady advancement towards reformation", it will speed up the process of obtaining a visa-free regime and the right to EU membership.
