Investigations into serious crimes in Ukraine have been stalled because of "a lack of will to hold the perpetrators accountable," according to Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, Ambassador Samantha Power.
"Investigations into serious crimes such as the violence in the Maidan and in Odesa have been sluggish, opaque, and marred by serious errors – suggesting not only a lack of competence, but also a lack of will to hold the perpetrators accountable," she said during her visit to Kyiv on Thursday.
