Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmytro Kuleba says he is ready to combine his current post with that of foreign minister, but the ultimate decision depends on President and the Verkhovna Rada.
When asked if President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with him his possible appointment to a foreign minister's post, Kuleba said: "All decisions will be made or not made, in line with the results of tomorrow. I think there's no point in speculating before that. I'm used to always draw conclusions on the results of decisions that have been made or not made," he told journalists, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

In addition, when asked if he was ready for taking up additional responsibilities, Kuleba said: "I was never afraid to take on additional powers that I can fulfill. But I emphasize once again the decision depends on President and Parliament."
To a clarifying question about his attitude toward the idea of combining the posts of a foreign minister and deputy prime minister, Kuleba said: "If this happens, regardless of who will combine these posts, this will be about strengthening both Ukrainian diplomacy and European and Euro-Atlantic integration."
"There is a political process, consultations ongoing," the official said and recommended that journalists wait until Wednesday, March 4, when the Verkhovna Rada will consider personnel reshuffles in the Cabinet.
Earlier, the media spread information that Kuleba could replace Vadym Prystaiko as the foreign minister.
