Crimean Tatar leaders are going to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, August 03, Chairman of the Crimean Tatars' Mejlis Refat Chubarov said in Ankara on Sunday, according to the Crimean news agency Krym.Realii.
In an address to the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, which ended in Ankara on August 02, the Turkish president said that he would never recognize the Russian annexation of Crimea.
Earlier on Sunday, Crimean Tatar leader, Ukrainian presidential envoy for Crimean Tatar People's affairs and MP from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Mustafa Dzhemilev,Chairman of the Crimean Tatars' Mejlis Refat Chubarov and Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Tatars' Mejlis Aslan Omer Kirimli met with Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu.
In a statement on the results of the two-day work in Ankara, the World Congress of Crimean Tatars called on the international community to take all measures to stop the Russian annexation of Crimea and to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
