In late September, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) will hold hearings regarding cases on lifting EU sanctions in relation to Ukrainian ex-officials of Yanukovych regime, according to the Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda referring to the CJEU press service.
Schedule of hearings is as follows:
September 23, 2015, 14:30: hearing of case T-434/14 Arbuzov against EU Council.
September 24, 2015, 9:30: hearing of case T-341/14 Klyuyev against EU Council.
September 24, 2015, 14:30: hearing of case T-486/14 Stavytskiy against EU Council
September 30, 2015, 9:30: hearing of consolidated case T-331/14 & T-332/14 Mykola Azarov-Oleksiy Azarov against EU Council (partly a closed hearing).
It is noted that the Court may at any time, even shortly before the beginning of a hearing, decide to hold the hearings behind closed doors, as was decided for Azarov's case.
As reported earlier, the EU imposed assets seizure against former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and several other Ukrainian ex-officials.
