Deputy Chairman of the State Duma committee on constitutional legislation and state development Vadim Solovyov, said that it is important to convey to the Russian citizens full information on the security status in destinations where they choose to spend their vacations, according to Govoritmoskva.ru.
According to the State Duma offifial, various ways to implement this idea are being discussed at the moment, including the introduction of exit visas.
"There are plenty of proposals submitted on introducing the exit visas. Foreign Ministry officials and and security officers would explain to the citizens what the risks are. After the citizens get this official information, they sign a document stating that they have been briefed and warned, and they still demand they be given an opportunity to travel," said Solovyov.
