The Central Election Commission has announced the voter turnout at the second round of the local election in Ukraine / Photo from UNIAN
The average voter turnout during the second round of the local election in Ukraine was 34.08%, according to the Central Election Commission.
The highest voter turnout was registered in Ternopil region, where ballot papers were given to 55.67% of citizens that are eligible to vote.
The lowest result was recorded in Kherson region with 20.52%.
Among the regions with the best results were Chernihiv region (46.45%), Volyn region (43.39%), and Odesa region (42.25%).
Kyiv saw a 28.35% voter turnout.
