Ukraine hopes for effective and fruitful cooperation with the new administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden in Kyiv on Monday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
Poroshenko thanked Biden and all the current administration of U.S. President Barack Obama for advice and help.
"We're counting on continuity in our joint work on the part of the new U.S. administration," he said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Biden expressed hope that Trump's administration would support Ukraine.
