Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Army General Viktor Muzhenko says that NATO is aware of the danger Russia poses to Europe today, according to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Defense chiefs of NATO member states are aware of the danger to Europe in terms of Russian aggression against Ukraine," Muzhenko said following the Ukraine-NATO Military Committee meeting in Brussels on Wednesday.
Muzhenko noted the unity of top military leaders, members of the NATO Military Committee, in understanding the danger posed by Russia to Europe today.
"During bilateral meetings with the colleagues from NATO and partner states, Muzhenko discussed the development of cooperation, assistance to Ukraine and share experiences with the Allied partners," the press service said.
Read alsoPoland welcomes U.S. troops as part of NATO buildup (Photo)During his visit to the headquarters of the Alliance, Muzhenko met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General Petr Pavel, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO Allied Command Operations, General Curtis Scaparotti, heads of the general staffs of UK, Estonia, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic and Sweden.
