Klimkin announces intentions to meet with Trump team in February: "We are in close contact"

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin told reporters he had plans to hold the first meetings with representatives of Donald Trump Administration in during his February visit to the U.S. as part of Ukraine’s monthly presidency in the UN Security Council, an UNIAN correspondent reported from Klimkin’s briefing Thursday.

"We are in a dialogue now. I can tell you about the dates a bit later. I mean, next month I will be present [in New York]... because, as you know, we are chairing the Security Council. We will have two very important ministerial meetings: one dedicated to critical infrastructure threats, and another one devoted to the conflicts in Europe," Klimkin said.
