The leaders of the Normandy Four – Ukraine, Germany, France, and Russia – have discussed the release of Donbas hostages in the all-for-all format among other issues during their recent phone conversation, according to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's press service.
"The leaders urged to intensify efforts to liberate and exchange detained persons on the 'all for all' principle," the press service said in the readout of Poroshenko's phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, President of France Francois Hollande and President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The state leaders confirmed commitment to the implementation of the Minsk peace agreements on Donbas, particularly as regards security and political aspects of settlement.

They also condemned threats to the OSCE SMM observers.
The participants in the conversation thanked French President Hollande for his efforts within the Normandy format and expressed hope that the given format will continue functioning after the presidential elections in France.
