The decision of the Council of the European Union to extend economic sanctions against the Russian Federation for another six months has come into force.
The relevant decision was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on Thursday, June 29.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on June 28, 2017, the Council of the European Union prolonged economic sanctions targeting specific sectors of the Russian economy until January 31, 2018.
