Bulgarian TV channel apologizes for posting Ukraine map without Crimean Peninsula

The Bulgarian TV channel apologized for airing a map of Ukraine without the Russian-annexed Crimea, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Bulgaria wrote on Facebook.

According to the Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Mykola Baltazhi, "[we] finally received a written apology from the leadership of the national television bTV for airing a map of Ukraine without Crimea."

"Attempts to encroach on the territorial integrity of Ukraine are doomed to failure!" the embassy wrote.

In the latest case, June 13, the Ukrainian Embassy in Kazakhstan expressed protest over an exhibition at the Astana Art Fest festival, where one of the exhibits depicting the map of Ukraine in its composition lacked the territory of the Russian-annexed Crimea.
