Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said a phone conversation as part of the Normandy Four talks between the presidents of Ukraine, Russia, France and the German Chancellor will take place in the near future, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"A telephone conversation is planned in the near future. Security issues and releasing hostages with a special emphasis on safety will be discussed among other things," he told a briefing on Tuesday, August 22.
Klimkin also noted a personal meeting between the leaders of states makes sense when one can hope for a real result.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Normandy Four leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France, and Germany on July 24 held talks over the phone, focusing on the settlement of the Donbas crisis.
