The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed a strong protest to the Russian Federation in connection with the illegal election of the so-called "governor" of the occupied city of Sevastopol, ministry's press secretary Mariana Betsa wrote on Twitter.
"We express our strong protest in connection with the ‘electoral processes’ in the occupied Crimea. Grave violation by the Russian Federation of international law and Ukrainian legislation," wrote the foreign ministry's press secretary.
