The leading Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has depicted Crimea as Russia's territory, mixed up FC Metalist Kharkiv and FC Metalurh Zaporizhya, as well as their stadiums, according to Ukrainian sports journalist Nikita Chernyack.
"Nothing new. Years go by, the Italian press remains so Italian," the journalist wrote on Facebook, noting that the author of the material Pierfrancesco Archetti was broadcasting directly from Kharkiv.
