The European Commission will assess by the end of the year how Ukraine has been fulfilling its EU visa-free provisions, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"We can confirm that we received the report by the Ukrainian authorities [on the fulfillment of the visa-free provisions], which will feed into the post-visa liberalization monitoring report due by the end of the year. The monitoring report will be public and available online," an EC representative told UNIAN.

Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said that the European Commission will initiate a procedure for the suspension of the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens' short-term trips to the EU.
