A conflict has been broiling between Ukraine's Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and President Petro Poroshenko from the very first day of the president's election, Anton Herashchenko, who is a former adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, has said on air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
Asked whether there is such conflict, Herashchenko replied: "Yes, from the very first day when Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was elected," UP reports.
Heraschhenko claimed that the nature of conflict lay in a different approach of the two officials to security issues and the conduct of criminal investigations in Ukraine.
