Ukrainian political prisoner Balukh placed under house arrest in occupied Crimea

A respective court ruling was passed by judge of Crimea's Rozdolnensky district court Elena Tedeyeva.

Balukh is not allowed to leave his house, communicate with witnesses, use the Internet and emails.

However, during hearings on the appeal, his verdict was revoked and the case was sent for reconsideration.

Russia's FSB security service detained Balukh on December 8, 2016. The Russian law enforcers claimed they allegedly had found 90 bullets and several TNT explosive devices in his attic.
