The Russian Federation will deploy in the illegally-annexed Crimea its S-400 Triumph missile systems for "protection against aerial threats from Ukraine," RIA Novosti reported citing its sources.
The second division of the S-400 land-to-air missile system, stationed in the occupied port city of Sevastopol, will primarily control the airspace over Chonhar and Armiansk – the two settlements located on opposite sides of the de-facto administrative border between mainland Ukraine and the Russian-occupied peninsula, RIA Novosti wrote.

The invaders said that an echeloned air defense system is being formed in Crimea amid Ukraine’s missile tests conducted in the area recently.
