Ukraine tops the list of countries with the most money transfers from migrants living in Europe, 271 MPs supported at first reading the new law on local elections, and the SBU is investigating 4,868 cases involving threats to state security.

1st place was obtained by Ukraine in the list of countries with the largest money transfers from migrants living in Europe, according to a report by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Thus, in 2014, Ukrainians sent home $7,587,000. In second place is Poland, and Nigeria is in third.

2 students, citizens of Jordan, injured as a result of a large-scale brawl on a university campus in Kharkiv on the night of June 12 have been evacuated to Amman, the capital of the kingdom, at the initiative of the Jordanian authorities, according to Kharkiv Regional State Administration. 9,000 people make up the number of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory, according to the headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation. The group is armed with 532 armored combat vehicles, 153 artillery units, 190 tanks, 89 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 66 air defense systems and 4 units of Tochka-U MLRS. At the same time, nearly 33,000 people comprise the illegal armed militant groups in the Donbas, armed with over 368 tanks, over 940 armored vehicles, and 375 multiple rocket launcher units.

The population of Ukraine as of May 1, 2015 amounted to 42,854,106 people, reports the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
