A 2016 military budget will provide for a significant increase in allowance of the Ukrainian troops, according to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko who spoke on Saturday at a working meeting of volunteers that will work in the Centers for Assistance to ATO Participants, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
"The new military budget in 2016 will provide for a sharp increase in salaries of the Ukrainian military," said the President.

These funds will be allocated for purchasing 65,000 sets of armored helmets, 60,000 bulletproof vests, 200 thousand sets of uniform, 59,500 sets of military gear, 50,000 sets of defensive gear, 35,000 sets of bedding and 56,000 sleeping bags.
