English should be introduced nationwide as a second working language along with Ukrainian, according to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko who spoke on Thursday at the 400-year anniversary of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"'Mohylyanka' [Kyiv-Mohyla Academy] pioneered two working languages - Ukrainian and English. And I think it would be very good if another working language was introduced in Ukraine, not only in 'Mohylyanka,' along with Ukrainian. And it should rightfully be English," said Poroshenko.
