Official info on voter turnout in local elections released

Voter turnout in the local elections in Ukraine on October 25 was 46.62%, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The CEC reported on the highest turnout in the western Ukrainian Ternopil (56.50%) and Lviv regions (56.31%). Over 50% voters also showed up to the polls in Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Rivne and Vinnytsia regions.

The smallest number of voters was recorded in Donetsk (31.65%) and Luhansk (35.27%) regions.

A civil network Opora reported on a 46.5% voter turnout as of the time the polls closed yesterday.
