The local taxi driver in Ukraine's Black Sea port city of Odesa, infected with H1N1 virus, has died, while another 19 patients are now hospitalized, according to the General Directorate of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service in Odesa region.
From September 28 to December 22, the virology laboratory was examining 161 patients and nine deceased with a preliminary diagnosis of "influenza, SARS, viral pneumonia."
"The laboratory recorded 19 hospitalized patients with positive test results, as well one deceased patient," the report says.
