Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed decree No. 248/2016 "On the Regulation about the Military Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Foreigners and Stateless Persons," according to the president's press service.
The decree is aimed to optimize the recruiting of foreigners and stateless persons as privates, sergeants, and officers who will serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract, the press service said.
