"A personal obligation as a measure of restraint has been applied to the suspect, which in unacceptable, according to NABU," the report said.

The anti-corruption watchdog noted that "while handing down his ruling, the judge of Halytskiy district court explained it with a public appeal by the Supreme Council of Justice, which has no legal force." However, norms of laws and the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as the practice of arresting judges detained for committing serious crimes, established along with the introduction of judicial reform, were completely ignored, the report emphasized.
