Turchynov: Ukraine mulls blocking anti-Ukrainian broadcasts in ATO zone

The project of blocking militant and Russian TV and radio broadcasting in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone is ready to be implemented, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov told the meeting of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center, the NSDC press service reported.

"Information aggression is one of the most dangerous components of the hybrid war Russia has been waging against us. Therefore, the blocking of the destructive influence of separatist and Russian information propaganda in the ATO zone remains one of our priorities," he stressed.

Considering the urgency of this task, the NSDC Secretary appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman with a proposal to allocate financial resources necessary for the implementation of the project from the government's reserve fund.
