The National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has launched a probe into the possible illegal enrichment of Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, the press secretary of NABU Svitlana Olifirа told Ukrayinska Pravda.
"According to the court's decision, which obliges to report information to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, detectives have done so, and an investigation has been launched into possible illegal enrichment," she said.
According to Olifirа, the case concerns the prosecutor general, and was opened under Part 3 Article 368-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal enrichment).

At the same time, former Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin wrote on Facebook that the case had been initiated at his appeal.

Kuzmin also posted a letter from NABU, where he was informed of the probe launch.
