A little more than a quarter of Ukrainians leaving the country (26.1%) seek to stay on foreign soil to wait out hard times, according to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology
Some 15.4% of respondents choose to travel abroad to engage in seasonal work, zn.ua reports.
Another 9.3% would like to gain knowledge and experience, and then return to Ukraine.

At the same time, only 11% of citizens tried to open their own business: 2.7% called this experience successful, 8.3% believe they failed.
