Re-infection with COVID-19 mainly occurs among people with comorbidities.
Deputy Head of the Public Health Center Oleksandr Matskov has said re-infection with COVID-19 in Ukraine are isolated cases and occur among people with comorbidities.
"Re-infection are isolated cases. Each of these cases requires a detailed analysis since it is necessary to confirm this is a repeated case. It mainly occurs among people with comorbidities, which reduces the body resistance. But, I repeat, these cases are still isolated," he told Ukraine 24 TV channel, commenting on the idea of the Health Ministry to track cases of re-infection with COVID-19.
