The load is further increasing, the top health official warns.
Hospital load in terms of COVID-19 patients has reached 44% across Ukraine, says Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.
"We're seeing an increasing hospital load in terms of COVID-19 patients. Even having allocated 36,000 beds that are already in place or reserved, we're practically deploying new hospitals [for COVID-19 treatment] because in some regions, the number of hospitalized is growing very rapidly," Stepanov told a Kyiv briefing on September 2, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
Some 44% of the beds already prepared for patients with COVID-19 are currently occupied.
