In a disappointing forecast, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal says the daily COVID-19 incidence will further grow across country.

The country may see up to 3,000 new patients daily by September-end, Shmyhal suggested, speaking at a TV panel show on 1+1, according to the TSN news service.

"Today we have 2,000 to 2,500 patients daily. According to forecasts, by the end of September or early October, the daily number of new patients could grow to 3,000," Shmyhal said.

Hospital load in this regard could reach 80% across the country.
