Ukraine said 10,179 new active COVID-19 cases had been confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours as of November 10, 2020.
"In the past day, 10,179 people tested positive for the coronavirus, including 410 children and 445 healthcare workers," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote on Facebook on November 10.
The total number of confirmed cases grew to 479,197 as of November 10, 2020.
As many as 1,252 people were hospitalized over the past day, while 5,514 recovered.
The death toll has hit 8,756 with 191 fatalities recorded in the past day.

The highest number of new confirmed cases in the past 24 hours was registered in the city of Kyiv (747), Zhytomyr region (646), Kyiv region (628), Odesa region (608), and Zaporizhia region (588).
