Ukraine said 12,524 new active COVID-19 cases had been confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours as of November 14, 2020, which continued the recent upward trend in daily cases.
The total number of confirmed cases grew to 525,176 as of November 14, 2020, according to the interactive map compiled by the National Security and Defense Council.
As many as 238,802 patients, including 4,953 in the past day, have recovered.
The death toll has hit 9,508 with 191 fatalities recorded in the past day.
The government reported 276,866 active cases as of November 14. In total, there have been 592,077 reports on suspected COVID-19 since the beginning of 2020.
"In the past day, 12,524 people tested positive for the coronavirus, including 474 children and 496 healthcare workers. Over the past 24 hours,1,525 new patients were hospitalized," Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote on Facebook on November 14.

The highest number of new confirmed cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Kyiv (1,053), Zaporizhia region (805), Odesa region (758), Kharkiv region (749), and Kyiv region (698).
