In Stanytsia Luhanska, Ukraine's Donbas, a drunk military serviceman has apparently shot his fellow soldier dead and made every effort to conceal the crime, trying to make it look like a suicide.
Investigators have managed to debunk the initial report of a suicide allegedly committed by a military serviceman, 21, on duty near Stanytsia Luhanska, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
The probe on the ground has confirmed that a crime has in fact been committed and someone attempted to conceal murder: the scene was manipulated, the victim's personal weapon was moved, while the victim's bodily injuries did not correspond to the circumstances of the suicide.

Confronted with evidence, the suspect confessed to shooting the soldier dead.
He claimed he had committed the crime while intoxicated
The culprit was taken into custody.
Proceedings were opened against him under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Now military prosecutors are investigating the suspect's testimony.
