Ukraine has received another batch of 75,000 tonnes of anthracite coal from South Africa, which will ensure the uninterrupted operation of Chernihiv and Darnytsia heat and power plants (CHPPs) amid the forthcoming heating season, according to Ukrainian media.
Deputy Chairman of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Petro Panteleyev says that consumers of three Kyiv districts will receive hot water through the centralized water supply system on Tuesday, June 27, according to the KCSA's press service.
State-owned operator of Ukraine's gas transportation system Ukrtransgaz has lifted restrictions on gas supplies to the capital's combined heat and power plant No. 6 (CHPP-6), introduced in late May due to the systematic failure to pay for gas transportation services and accumulated debt, according to the Corporate Communications Department of the national oil and gas holding Naftogaz of Ukraine.
