Since 2014, the World Bank has allocated over $5.5 billion for projects in Ukraine and has provided another $0.5 billion in guarantees for gas purchases.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says the draft national budget for 2018 provides for the further growth of local budget revenue, with 5% of royalties for the use of subsoil to be sent to the local budgets.
The government of Ukraine is preparing five new projects with the support of international financial institutions, including the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the European Investment Bank (EIB), according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's website.
