A special group is probing into the circumstances of the incident.
One Ukrainian soldier was killed in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Thursday, October 10.
"A member of the Joint Forces was killed amid enemy shelling on October 10," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said on Facebook.

It did not report where exactly the incident had taken place.
JFO Commander Volodymyr Kravchenko expressed his condolences to the victim's family. "The circumstances are being examined by an ad hoc group of the military law enforcement service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the press center said.
From 00:00 to 19:00 Kyiv time on October 10, Russia-led troops mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, according to the JFO HQ.
