From 0600 to 1900 Kyiv time on Wednesday, the situation in eastern Ukraine remained tense, without any drastic changes, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) press center wrote on Facebook.
There was firing virtually along the entire line of contact in Donbas, according to the ATO update.
In the Donetsk sector, Russian-backed militants shelled the village of Hranitne, using 120mm-caliber mortars. Terrorists fired an anti-missile system on the village of Opytne once, while the town of Maryinka was under small-arms fire.
In the Artemivsk sector, the village of Troyitske was attacked with the use of mortars, while the village of Lozove was shelled from heavy machine guns, 120mm-caliber mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms.
Terrorists also used heavy machine guns, automatic grenade launchers and small arms to fire on the town of Schastia in Luhansk region.
