A total of 15 sailors of the Naval Forces of Ukraine were killed and another 65 wounded during the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the east of Ukraine, presidential administration spokesman for ATO Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"About 1,000 Navy servicemen have obtained the status of an ATO participant. Unfortunately, 15 brave sailors laid down their lives in the struggle for Ukrainian independence in the east of Ukraine, while 65 were injured during the Anti-Terrorist Operation," he said.
