One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another nine were wounded in the Donbas conflict zone in the last 24 hours, presidential administration spokesman for the Anti-Terrorist Operation Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"In the last day, we lost one Ukrainian soldier, and another nine were injured as a result of military clashes," Lysenko said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 101 times overnight, using banned artillery systems 12 times, mortars 38 times, small arms and rocket-propelled grenade launchers 62 times, and tanks five times.
