The latest escalation of the situation in Donbas has been a well-planned operation, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said on Wednesday during a joint press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei.
"The recent examples of escalation of the situation in Donbas… It was a conscious and very well-planned operation, both in the villages of Shyrokyne and Starohnativka. All these cases are examples of how the Russian side together with Donetsk and Luhansk are trying to disrupt the Minsk agreements," Klimkin said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said on Tuesday that the new escalation of the situation in eastern Ukraine violated the Minsk peace agreements.
