The situation was calm in the Donbas conflict zone overnight, which enabled the Ukrainian military to begin the withdrawal of tanks and mortars, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
"Today, on October 20, 2015, we are about to launch the second phase to pull back tanks and 100mm artillery systems, including mortars of up to 120mm caliber. As it was expected, the weapons will be withdrawn at a distance of at least 15 km from the demarcation line. The withdrawal will start in the direction of the town of Debaltseve in the morning."
